Join us for a special afternoon at Steinway Hall, Scottsdale, AZ
We’ve always believed in creating, not reacting. That’s at the heart of who we are, and Clefer is a reflection of that.
When we began this journey, we started with a vision - something we wanted to bring into the world. After a lot of research, endless conversations with teachers and students, and the collaboration of an incredible team, something unique started to take shape. Holding that vision has been everything. We are not reacting to trends or fear. We create. Clefer exists as an entirely new way to support piano practice. Because we listen. We understand the real pain points of teachers and students, and we care deeply about supporting them. Our promise is to always aim for greatness and quality. We aim for community, connection, and zero judgment.
We know that playing piano is more than hitting the right notes. It is about feeling, understanding, and connecting with music. Like any relationship, there are moments it feels too hard. But with the right guidance and encouragement, you unlock something magical. That is what Clefer is here for: to make that journey possible, and deeply personal ~ Victoria & Frits van Laarhoven
Our mission is to connect & inspire a global collective of piano players to fall deeper in love with the piano.
We believe this connection begins in the quiet moments of practice. That’s why we built a tool that offers real-time feedback, structure and encouragement when you’re on your own. By turning those solo moments into something more easeful, engaging, and emotionally supported, every player stays connected to the music they love.
The bond between a teacher and a student is at the heart of learning any instrument. Clefer was designed to strengthen that connection.
For students, Clefer provides the structure and encouragement needed to feel confident practicing on their own.
For teachers, it’s a supportive tool that complements their method, helping students arrive at each lesson more prepared and freeing up valuable time for artistry and musical expression.
We believe in teachers.
Technology becomes powerful when it complements, not replaces, traditional teaching.
We celebrate the process.
Real growth happens in the quiet moments of practice - one step at a time.
We build for confidence.
Step by step, you’ll feel progress - and less alone - every time you sit down to play.
We design with heart.
A practice tool should feel like a supportive companion - calm, intuitive, and beautiful.
We build for that small, perfect moment - the soft exhale, the quiet smile, and the thought: I’ve got this.
We love connecting with you. Here’s where we can meet next:
If you teach, learn, or support piano and you share our mission, we’d love to hear from you
